Thor looked up and over to his left where his singular gaze found Darcy and the child. The hard, pensive visage he had melted into a much warmer smile as he was glad to see someone he recognized--and someone he did not speak to often. Being gone, and coming back, made him understand the importance these people had. He neglected them in his own despair over Sif. In the back of his mind Thor promised not to do so again.
"Hey!" the god called out brightly and started to walk toward the pair with fairly quick strides. The closer he got the more battle-worn he clearly was, the choppy cut and lack of his flowing hair, and especially the dark patch covering his right eye.
"It's good to see you," Thor said sincerely. He was not bothered by her appearance at all; motherhood was no easy task and only true warriors were able to manage such a journey.
