Bucky took a little longer to answer that one. He'd never not been honest with Steve and didn't want to start now. He knew that, on paper had had a good life. He had a good family, friends, he was at least familiar with just about everyone on the station and they all seemed to like him. He felt successful and good at his job. But he still knew that, at the end of the day, he still went home to an empty apartment, ate his dinner by himself and went to bed the same. And that he would do it that way for the rest of his life. "It's as good as it could be." he told Steve, honestly.
