The teddy bear he'd gotten for his little sister hadn't seemed all that big when he bought it in New York. Now, though, as he carried it down the hall it was almost as big as he was. It was ridiculous to get that big of a bear for a new born but he just couldn't pass it up. The big pink bow around its neck was almost the size of his head. He also managed to carry a box of designer chocolates for Stacey. When he got to the door, he actually had to use his foot to knock and he knew the bear would be what she saw, rather than him.

	Stephanie was tucked away in a bassinet, which Stacey peeked into as she passed when Steve kicked at the door. She moved to touch the panel that opened the door. Her brows knit together. 	"I wanted to." He smiled. The smile faltered just a tiny bit but stayed in place. "Yeah. Just woke up like this." He wanted to spare her the details of the ordeal. 	"I like you better like this." Though he had been ailment free, he was more Steve this way. And reminded her less of old Steve. "I can take that, you go fix the tea." "We put the other clothes away just in case it happens again." Part of him hoped that it did. "And I gave Stevie back the clothes he let me borrow." He smiled. Even though this wasn't the kitchen he grew up in, he was still able to find everything he needed. He got the water started and then leaned back against the counter. "How's she doing?" He was concerned that his little sister had the same ailments.

	"Well, she is asleep. But she's out, it's safe to hold her." Not that she thought any time was unsafe, but this time she was less likely to fuss. "Well, whatever suits her. I imagine she'll want to do the things she way she wants to do them. And here, I don't have to worry about cost of nappies, or food if my milk runs out. And baby watchers are all around. People you can trust." She wouldn't have had that back home. Wouldn't have had Steven either, so she doubted that she would have willingly become anyone's Mom. "So I'm okay with her staying wee as long as she wants."
