Katherine nodded along. "That sounds like a good start. I don't know what Dad's planned for the day. We'll see. And I don't think he minds. He has no problem saying no." It wasn't quite true. Deep down she knew that her father rarely said no to any request she made.
They entered a large room. It was an oval space. The heart of the ship. Tables and seats were merged with the wall. The centre piece was a large holographic table, currently switched off. On the opposite side two short stairwells led up to a podium that held the helm of the ship. Her father stood at the end, his back to them. He was dressed in a black suit. Katherine wasn't sure if he had ever seen him in any other mortal clothes than suits. The form split off into two. One walked towards them while the other remained at the consoles, facing away from them.
"Eggsy, this is my Dad. Dad, this is my friend Eggsy."
