There was no response. She'd heard her name, she knew she was being moved but she couldn't seem to make her body do anything about it. Some part of her seemed to know this person was trying to help. The guards never used her name.
She tried harder, tried to put anything left of her mind on to the task of doing something, anything to let whoever this was know that she was here. But then the collar beeped, she felt that sting again and was gone. If it hadn't been for her breath rising and falling in her chest, she would have seemed dead.
