Jyn focused on the shoes for a moment, realizing that she'd only ever had one truly worthy objective - getting her father's plans to the rebellion. Everything before that had been mere survival. It seemed like a disappointment to return to that. She picked a pair of very high platform boots and held them up, as if she were about to hand them to Kay-tu. "This would give you back some height." She set them back down on the shelf. She couldn't do that to him on his first day walking as a human. "But no. I think these will work in with the clashing scheme better." She picked up a pair of sturdy, comfortable-looking brown shoes and handed them to Kay-tu, "Oh, as long as you wear them with these." She passed over a pair of socks with mustard yellow and bright green stripes.
"We'll have to find a place to live too." Jyn commented. "And weapons in case we need to defend ourselves." She couldn't allow herself to believe that they were completely safe now.
