Nandita looked up from her place in the living room where she had come to sit and read from her phone. The communications in this place seemed poor; or perhaps the citizens were quiet; or perhaps there were fewer than she expected. Though she was glad to see children were being born she was disappointed on the parent's behalf it had to be here.
"Honey? I like that," she said with a cheeky grin as she got to her feet to meet him at the door. "Welcome home. Did you have a nice...swim?" she asked as she assessed him.
He was a fine, fine god. Nandita did not hide her appraisal as her eyes roamed before finding his face once more. The smell of dinner filled the home and leaked through the door to the hall once opened.
