Caroline glanced sidewards at Stefan, her blonde, curled hair snagging in the cold breeze and blustering out behind her. She had a loose wool beret on to keep the worst of the snow off of her but the lengths of her hair were still loose for the wind to play with. Caroline wasn't exactly fond of the cold but it wasn't so bad when she was all wrapped up in her long, red coat and her matching cream scarf, hat and mittens. Besides, apart from the physical, she was enjoying being with Stefan too much to complain about the island's sudden drop in temperature. It was a shame they hadn't been able to do their picnic like they'd planned but they'd still had a great day. In fact, she thought she agreed with Stefan when he said it was the best date he'd ever had. She'd never really been on any awesome dates before, even if this one was technically for charity.
"You think so?" she asked, a little, embarrassed smile twitching the corners of her lips as she looked down at her feet kicking through the wet sand. She hadn't realised, when Stefan had first lost his memory, how attached she'd get to him. Was this wrong? She felt kind of guilty. He was Elena's ex. But he was also so, so, so wonderful....
