Rhysand laughed. True enough, but I'm wondering if I should hit the weights, he mused over a sip from his glass before returning to the conversation at hand. Those long limbs of his stretched out, one reaching to draw fingers through Katherine's beautiful hair.
"We have a bond that is stronger than any marriage vow, though I would not be against it should we decide to one day." Rhysand smiled down at Katherine before motioning with his glass pointedly at the pair.
"Roxy said you've got some questions? Please, ask away. We'll do what we can to answer them, but we've all only just come to this particular place, ourselves. I'm afraid in some aspects, we're all in the dark." A gentle cushion for their sadness if or when a question was not met with a knowledgeable answer--or one at all. Some answers were best saved for when it was not your first day among the islanders.
At this, Nandita smiled and nodded. It wasn't really her business what that bond was, despite her curiosity. Emotional bonds traveled far deeper than paperwork and memorized, repeated phrases in a ceremony of faith. Though, she did truly adore her wedding a small part of her rather hoped she could share something with Kai. Only time would tell. He at least seemed thoughtful enough not to walk away the second the chance arose, so that was something. Everyone had talked him up--now Nandita wanted to see just how well they all spoke of him.
"I think I would like to know how and why we are here," she said. "We aren't--it isn't normal for our kind to be whisked away."
