As Roxy turned to speak on the phone, presumably to Katherine, Nandita turned and looked up at Kai once more. That look on his face...for a pair that had primarily just met, it still broke her heart. She did not love him--she hardly knew him--but she had made vows and that felt special enough to her. Reaching up, her decorated fingers gently tried to cup his strong jawline and guide his gaze to her.
"Meree pyaaree devata, look at me," she spoke softly. "It will be alright. We will find our way home, whatever it takes. You have me--I will give you all that you need." The back of her right index finger moved over his cheek kindly. Her statement alluded back to the entire purpose they had been wed in the first place; to bring him sustenance when his own believers were fading away. It could, of course, held something more.
