In response, Cristiano gave a small sigh but a nod of agreement. "I know," he replied, though his stomach had felt sick since the moment he opened his eyes and came to the startling news that he wasn't in the ocean. There wasn't any good sand...Everything had felt so fake in the room he woke in, but maybe there was an actual pool like at the temple filled with sand and properly built mer homes.
"I just don't know why it has to be in space. Anything else!" He groaned a little as his long, powerful tail flicked slowly but propelled him easily beside Juliet. His hand reached out to take hers and squeeze it. Cristiano was scared. Plain and simple. He barely trusted humans let alone their machines and now he was thrust into a human-made machine in outer space!
"Did you at least have fun with the others? I'm sorry I wasn't there when you got up." He had already apologized perhaps five or so times on the subject, but he felt it was his duty to be there by her side and instead he had been in some kind of coma. At least he wasn't sick any longer. The vile black goo spilling in the ocean had been really wrecking with his system.
