Sunila stopped in the doorway and watched the younger Cuddys at play, which included the oldest Rachel. Sunila would have to play the role of her own father and make sure they grew up to like pirates and give their mother the occasional bit of attitude. She had enough House in her to see to that and Rachel might be too happy to see her mother to remember that sass.
She wondered if Rachel remembered anything about House at all, or the other babysitters she'd had when she was younger. She wondered if anyone on the island did. In their time, life had been centered around survival, not remembrance.
Through the force, Sunila sensed that someone was nearby. She pulled herself out of her thoughts and stepped to the side in case she was in their way, giving a friendly "Hi."
