Izzy's eyes drifted to her grandmother's stomach. It was strange to think that was her aunts or uncles in there. "And they're not sick either,right?" She asked. Without proper medical care in the districts, she'd seen that life could be dangerous for pregnant women.
"I wanna stay up." Izzy answered. Going back to sleep meant nightmares, or worse being alone, and she wasn't ready for that. As long as she was awake, she could be certain that she was home and not isolated.
