He had dropped the folded-up chair at the way into the garden, feeling a not-so-subtle nudge from the Force when he had wanted to try going through the Temple itself. He had forgotten how beautiful and calm it had been, and the sense of the Force helped calm him down, helped settle his mind a little. And then he felt Sunila getting closer.
He headed towards her, trying not to rush, but he couldn't help it. "Sunila!" he called out once he spotted her, and jumped the hedge in his way so he could get to her quicker. And then he stopped a few paces in front of her. He was different than he'd been in 2017, that much was blindingly obvious, and he didn't want to scare her. Staring at her with a stupid smile on his face wasn't going to help, though, but fucking hell, she was beautiful. His motor whirred at that point, and snapped him out of it.
"I'm Jake. Your Jake, your husband. I promise. I'm just... older. A lot older. What date is it?"
