"I'm not worried for myself. Not entirely." Heather watched him as he removed his gloves. As he moved closer. She worried about him. "The place I was at, before this one... Which is probably where I'll return to if things go pear-shaped. People fought against the guy in charge, and things didn't go very well for them." And she worried for him. "And this guy... He seems more heartless, and more brutal."
Most people would probably be intimidated if he towered over them the way he did her. But she took comfort in it. Took comfort in the fact that he was so much more of a presence. The average bear might quiver at such emanating power, but she wasn't the average bear. And while she did quiver it was for an entirely different reason. "If... If they go to war against him, are you going with them?" Not that there was anywhere to really go.
