Jake glanced at Dr. Morgan, then looked round at his nephew. "If you want to stop this at any time, you just say. Okay? Nobody's going to complain or think you're wasting their time, I promise. We go at your pace."
Tommy looked up at his uncle and gave him a little smile. "Okay. Thanks. I just... I want to know what's going on. I feel really stupid, freaking out over nothing," he said, continuing on when it looked like Jake was going to try and say something again, "okay, okay, it's not nothing, but I can't remember whatever it is so it might as well be, and I'm tired all the time and I just want it to stop."
"I get that, I really do," Jake told him, "I got all kinds of not-nothings in my head, but if anything makes you feel uncomfortable, just say."
