Later, at the Sully House
JR still wasn't sure this was the best idea.
His father had told him to bring Thomas to the house, so that's what they'd done. The conversation with Laura hadn't gone the way he'd hoped anyway, so at least this would be a resolution one way or the other. Part of him hoped his father would tell him to kill the vampire, the rest of him just wanted the whole situation to go away.
Tom Sully didn't remember Rhianon like he did. The adult version in this time had been quiet and kept to herself mostly, but he still remembered the little girl in pigtails and a gap toothed smile. It was that little girl, and his niece who reminded him so much of her mother, that he wanted to avenge. But Thomas had saved the lives of his wife and children, and to honor that debt meant letting the vampire live. It sucked all around.
"Dad!" He called out as they entered the barn, having agreed that having this take place in the house was a bad idea. "We're here."
