Jake had worked out how to get the bed to let him sit up a little, which he was ridiculously pleased about. The bullets had bounced around in his chest and done a fuckload of damage to his lungs and a couple other bits inside, so he'd needed more than a couple of operations to get things mostly sorted out. That had knocked his recovery time back a fair bit (and driven the costs up) so he was still feeling very very delicate. His scars seemed to be healing, though, and there weren't any more signs of infection, so that was good. And Sunila had him on some pretty damn good drugs for the not-insignificant amount of pain he was in. So, sitting up could happen! Awesome.
He looked over at the door just before he heard the knocking. "It's open," he said as he put his phone down on the overbed table, and smiled as he saw Kytana. "Hello. How're you? You look very... Jedi-ey."
