"It is, very large in the times most everyone came from. There are cities with millions of people living in them or so I've been taught." Juliet responded. There was no sense going into great detail, that could come in time. "A technomage is someone who understands magic and the sciences of earth, and can combine them in devices, like this phone. It was a very specialized role on my mother's world, not everyone who understood one could do both. One of my sisters inherited that knack, my brother and I inherited the musical talent in the family." A shrug and a smile.
She didn't laugh at the questions Cora raised, but she did smile. "I'm sorry, I didn't explain it well enough. A text message is like a written note, only you type it on the screen and it gets sent to the phone of the person you wanted it to go to. The internet is a place you can access through a phone or similar devices called computers that has information like a gigantic library. I agree, being trapped in real nets is a bad idea." A haunted look passed across her face and she shivered before shaking her head to banish the memory.
"The moon isn't like that in that realm. There's no air or water there, no life. Just dust and rock. They took a giant rocket, larger than the biggest ship you probably ever saw. They don't have magic so they had to use science."
Her face lit up at Cora's offer. "Would you? That would be so cool! Cris knows spellsongs, he's taught me a few. That's what they use in his realm."
