Shepard lay sprawled over their couch. How was she going to tell JR. She hadn't done 'I regret to inform..'s in a long time. And it had never been to someone she knew. At least not until Normandy 1. Then most of the people she'd talked to had been so shocked to see her alive. She groaned softly, wiping her hand over her face. Hormones weren't helping much either. Still, rather than go to him, she figured it would be easier to wait until he came home. Do it somewhere that was safe. Somewhere that he could scream, or cry, or do whatever he needed to do. And it was easier to keep a handle on herself. How could anyone think of murdering someone else here? And get away with it? |
