Thomas was taken aback by the female voice. It wasn't one he recognised. Not Molly, not Murphy and it wasn't as if his little brother was incredibly popular with the ladies. The amount of overnight company he had brought home while they had shared an apartment had been pitiful.
"It's Thomas... a friend," he lied. It was a well-known lie. The knowledge of their relation was guarded. Anyone who knew could use it against them; their respective alliances were enemies after all.
