Who: Adele and Thomas Raith
Where: Random Street
When: Around the same time as the other disappearances.
Warnings: Murder, violence, sex.
The hunger had been all that was left. Pain, guilt, shame, anger had devoured everything else. It had not taken him long to find his prey. A young woman walking down the streets all by herself. The hunger did not care that she was far too alone in streets that did not belong to Chicago. All that mattered was the energy of life that filled her body.
The demon in Thomas' body had lashed over her. One hand wrapped around her wrist and she had been all his. He had looked like hell - gnawed, starved and broken. His torturer had not much left of him. It did not matter. Once the contact was established, she had no chance. She wanted him to a point where even if she knew it would be the last time she would ever want anything, she would not turn back. His demon was strong and powerful. It was also hungry.
The restoration of his physical self did not take long. It was fierce, almost violent sex. He took what she willingly gave and he left her shattered. A body left without any life. Thomas drew back as his senses slowly returned. The hunger was quietly purring in a corner of his mind and he was left horrified.

Adele had been taught from a young age to watch out for any threat and trust her instincts. Her father had practically verged on the paranoid, worried that some of the threats from his or her mom's past might arrive on the island. She believed she could sense violence in the air and almost feel it on her skin. When she felt it on her walk home, she automatically placed her hand on her holster and moved with quiet, careful steps. She kept her back to against a building when she could, until she reached the gruesome scene. A man she did not know, standing over the lifeless body of someone she did know. Rhi. A part of her Sully family, and the mother of a young girl.
Adele hand moved away from her gun. Every fiber of her being called for her to make it more brutal, as her father would if he was still on the island. With him gone, she knew it was up to her to provide retribution. Her fingers sparked with fairy light and her face filled with the red of a rage. "What have you done?" She demanded of the stranger.
---
Thomas' eyes shot up and stared at the stranger for a moment. Another young girl. Another possible victim. He took a step back, almost stumbling over the pile made out of her clothes. He glanced down his bruised body. His mother's rested on a naked chest that was covered in a few tiny cuts. The hunger had been too overwhelming to notice the pain he was in. He'd been beaten, strangled and cut. He'd been drowned, he'd been starved. But worst of all he'd been fed.
"Leave," he muttered as he felt his demon stir again. The one girl had not been enough to heal his whole body and satisfy the demon's needs. He shuddered in remembrance of the sensation. "Run."
---
Anger and revulsion washed over Adele like a tidal wave. This man stood over the body of her dead cousin and he had the balls to order her around. She yelled at him with various Romanian swear words. "You should be the one running." She managed to say in English. Sparks of light and energy flew from her fingertips towards the man, enough to burn the skin of a human. But he wasn't human. She knew that from not being able to read a single thought. It made no difference. He had to pay. She'd see to it.
---
He had been to focused on controlling himself to dodge the light, a usually easy feat. It ate through his skin and through him to the ground. His eyes changed to silver as he drew on the demons power. It would be easy to heal. Eyes darted to the side until he spotted the loose pipe, he rushed towards it and picked it up. All in a speed no human could accomplish. "Leave," he growled through gritted teeth. He checked his surroundings worth quick glances. He wasn't aware of where he was but there was no witnesses - no need besides the woman on the ground.
---
Adele smirked when he picked up the pipe. "Really?" She looked up at the sky, which lit up and crackled with energy. Her gaze focused back on him as a single blot of lightening tore down from the sky and struck the pipe. "A pipe's like takin' a knife to a gun fight." She teleported behind him. He might be fast, but fae could move instantly. "It's moronic. Almost as dumb as you thinkin' you could kill one of my family and get away with it." She hissed and teleported again, this time in front of him, her fingers sparking again.
---
The taunts it had put him through flashed through his memories. The Hunger growled, pranced and stirred in a cage that was not properly locked. His aura lashed out. She had been stupid too taunt him. The demon inside of him regained control and, boy, was he ready for dessert. The air around him grew a tinge colder, his eyes grew completely wide and his skin shimmered faintly. Within a second he had grabbed hold of her arm just like he had done with her family member.
---
Adele felt a spark of attraction the moment he grabbed her arm. It was unexpected to say the least, breaking out through the hate and disgust in her mind. She knew it wasn't her own true feelings. He was doing something to her mind. She slapped his face with her free hand, hard enough to leave a mark or even burn a regular human with her light. Normally, her nails would be clawing out his eyes out next, but that damn attraction was holding her back. "Du-te dracului" She hissed.
---
Well, that was a first. Women almost never turned him down even if he wasn't trying. Damn good looks usually gained him the center of most female attention.
The demon growled from the rejection but it gave Thomas a fleeing chance to regain control. He shoved her away. "Leave," he pleaded. "I don't want to hurt you." He took a few stumbling steps away from her.
---
Adele stepped back when she was shoved, fighting the urge to regain physical contact with him. There was too much temptation for her to do something other than rip him to shreds as he deserved. But she would not give up entirely. She was a fae and a fighter, not a slave to her hormones. She maneuvered herself strategically, placing herself between him and Rhi's body. "You leave!"
---
Every step back was a fight. He glanced over to the body and all it left him with was the memory of pleasure. But he could not be responsible for another pair of dead eyes, even if it was what he was.
After a few more steps, he fled. Bare feet darted down the street and around the next corner.
