“I guess you have a point. My life probably wouldn’t be what it is. And I did get fabulous boobs out of the deal.” Sarah chuckled softly. Leaning back. “They were more of a surprise than the face.” She didn’t want to think of a time that she wouldn’t have her daughter… Harry. It was easier to change the subject than face that future.
------
Tony made a face. “You’re my science daughter, I don’t want to think about your boobs.”
-----
Sarah chuckled softly. “I know. I figured you wouldn’t look, so it was safe to comment on. I would much rather your Son think about my boobs in like twenty or so years.” She teased.
------
“Pretty sure at that point he’ll be thinking about a lot of boobs. Especially if he takes after his old man.” Tony chuckled. He kissed Sarah’s forehead before stepping back. “None of the girls on this island will be safe.”
-----
“Oh no they won't be. He does get geeky about things though, so he forgets to charm most of the time, but then he gives a smile that could just melt you clean to your toes.” There was a little tone in her voice, she’d been infatuated once. But not anymore. Sarah gave tony a smile. “He’s a good man, even if he’s a lot like his father.”
------
“If he’s a good man then he’s nothing like I was when I was his age.” He shook his head. “I was an arrogant dick.” Tony went over and looked at one of the computer screens. “You probably saw the movies, right?” He knew about the movies about him, about the others. And he knew that others had watched them.
------
“I have… But I think…” Sarah caught her lower lip as she leaned against the table closest to the snacks and things. “I think you were lonely. There’s so few people with an IQ as high as yours there, it’s hard to relate, hard to not feel excluded, or…” She sucked at her teeth as she looked for the right word. “I think being an ‘arrogant dick’ as you put it, was thicker armor than your mechanical suits.”
------
Tony looked up from the screen and just looked at her for a minute. “Did you study psychology or something?” He chuckled. She wasn’t exactly wrong. “I was actually engaged once. They didn’t put that in the movies. She was….different. Demanding, but not in a horribly intolerable way.”
