"They usually aren't. Not when I'm looking for people." Sarah wiped at her lashes, pushing back the tears, brushing away any that escaped, after she wrapped an arm around his middle. "Thanks, the power of hugs is awesome." It lifted her spirits a lot.
"That's good to hear. I'm glad everybody is okay." That it didn't stretch farther than the Sullys. "We're all huddled in the same house. Not quite under lock and key, but if anyone else vanishes I'm not sure we won’t be."
----
“Hugs can be pretty great, yeah.” He nodded and kissed her temple. She’d pretty much unofficially been adopted with all the time she spent in his lab.
“Well, I’ll keep my fingers crossed that nobody else disappears. You Sullys still need to take over the island.” He smirked a little.
------
Sarah surprised herself and actually smiled when his lips touched her temple. How many times had she practically beamed, when he’d done the same thing, growing up? It gave her a renewed vigor. Even if she didn’t find them, she’d definitely learn something. She was determined to. “How bad would it be for something to explode? Not purposely of course, but…” She shrugged. It was always possible when there was magic involved.
“I am seriously going to throw things at that big stupid, stupid head if anyone else does.” Of course she was talking about the Man. And his Spire. “But yeah, can’t have you Starks getting any ideas that you can beat us.” She teased.
------
Tony shrugged. “As long as it’s something that I can rebuild I don’t care.” He chuckled. “I’ve blown myself up plenty of times. It’s not a big deal.” And from what he had learned about Howard it was definitely a like father, like son kind of thing.
“You know that’ll end up with him retaliating, right?” Tony tilted his head. “You might need some assistance to help take some of the blame.” He was always up for doing things to the spire. Even with everything that had happened in the past.

“Mostly everything has an ‘air’ of protection on it. So nothing that would hinder research would be harmed. I think.” She was almost sure most of the equipment was safe, so were his robot companions. And they would be safe behind the blast shield, which had been Dresden tested and approved.
Sarah nodded firmly. “Are you offering to be a target instead of me? Because he’d come after us both, I’m sure. The severity would depend on what we did at the time, and what his mood was. But… All in the name of Science right?”
