Tommy and this baby or babies would probably be born around the same time. Wasn't that a kick in the head? And the grown up version of her little brother would never know she'd made him an uncle. Her vision blurred slightly and she wiped a tear away from her cheek. Could she blame the hormones or was it pure sadness?

"I wouldn't want to give you nightmares too." She demurred, taking a sip of the tea. "I was back on the 'Canal." Meaning Guadalcanal.
