"Thorin," he replied by way of greeting, smiling at his as he managed to catch his breath again. This was better. Things were back on track, he wasn't going to be stranded in this horrible place forever, or at least not on his own.
"Yes, it's so good to see you, too. Are you- but you were hurt, you're okay?" he babbled a little. He seemed to be okay, despite the little limp- he was okay. It would be fine.
"I don't know, I just- I don't really know. I've only been here a couple of days, a human girl gave me shelter and food," he explained. "I arrived alone. Did you? Is there anyone else with you?" he asked, a little concerned. It was good that he had found Thorin, at least, but if the others were still out there, in danger- well, it would be impossible to rest easy with that knowledge.
"Yes. Yes, it's- I'm very glad you're here. This place- I don't understand this place."
