Sookie walked into the bakery and ordered two slices of the coconut cream pie with chocolate crust, along with a coffee for herself. There was the expected joke from Adele about both pieces being for her or, given that she was a Sully, it may not have been a joke. Sookie chuckled and explained that she was meeting a new arrival and picked a table to sit at. She glanced at the door, and waited for Debra to join her. It was important to make sure new arrivals felt welcome, especially if she was going to talk them into joining her multicultural nights.

Debra was somewhat nervous about being here -- they were on an island, randomly, it was all very strange to her -- but she'd pushed the nervousness aside in favor of meeting Sookie in person, and, of course, pie. What could she say, she was pregnant with Ray's twins.

She spotted Sookie right away, and she walked over to join her.

"Hi," she said, sitting down in front of the other piece of pie. "Thanks for inviting me out. This looks good."

	"Hey, I'm glad you found the place." Sookie said and nodded. "It will be good." She hadn't actually started to eat her piece yet. She might be a Sully, but she could still have pie manners. 	"Oh, yeah. They have all kinds of tea." Sookie answered, and gave a wave to Adele. "Earl grey for Debra." Sookie nodded. "Most places around here are. 	"Strange things happening are kind of the norm around here." Sookie said with a shrug. "I don't know why. I have my ideas, we all do, but I don't think anyone knows for sure. There was a storm, a blackout and all the buildings moved around." (Reply to this) (Parent)
