Tony wished now more than ever that he had his armor. The trip to the park would take a matter of seconds. But then he realized that his arrival would probably also scare the living crap out of his mother.
How in the world was she even here? And from when he was only seven. That made him officially older than his own mother by more than a decade. Talk about messing with a person's head. He decided to go with a black sweater, though it was warm outside, he wanted to hide the glowing disc in the middle of his chest from his mom for now. She didn't need to know everything. Along with that he wore some jeans.
Tony left the building at a run, trying to get to the park as quickly as he could. He made it just to the edge of the park and stopped to catch his breath. He wanted to be able to communicate with her and he couldn't do that after running the whole way. When he had finally caught his breath, he slowly walked up to her. His own mother, right there in the park. He couldn't believe it.
"Mom?" He ran his fingers through his hair as he approached. Though he had his mother's coloring, his features were that of Howard Stark without question.
