"Of course I can. Acts of valour are second nature to me, apparently," he half-joked. He supposed he regularly ran into dangerous situations to try to help rather than running away from the risk. He might not have been a superhero, but he'd certainly not let that stop him.
"Oh, God, no!" he laughed at her suggestion, shaking his head and scrunching up his face for a second. "No, no. I think that would just remind me of my sisters, and that is really not what you want," he admitted with a chuckle. That was bound to be an awkward mood killer. "Yeah, boxes and boxes of them. You'll have to hide them from Charlie."
"Mm, I know. I'm the luckiest bastard in the world," he drawled with no sense of irony at all. His hands wandered cheekily back to her bum again for a moment. "I know, I know. Just one more kiss and I'll let you get Charlie's snack ready," he bargained with her as he spotted her glance at the time.
