WHO: Summer Adams and Klaus (thebastardson) WHEN: Forward dated to tomorrow evening, 2nd January WHERE: Mitchell's pub WHAT: How do you get a 1000+ year old control freak to chill out for a casual date? RATING: TBD STATUS: In Progress | Closed
Summer wasn't sure if this was a good idea. In fact, she was pretty sure it was a really bad idea. Still, she'd committed to it now. She couldn't back out. Besides, she knew that if she didn't face Klaus herself, he'd only find her eventually. Apart from Mason, she was the only werewolf eligable for hybridization on the island. That significantly narrowed her chances of keeping herself alive and her free will intact. She'd thought, if she could just talk to Klaus, he might realise that she was someone with an opinion worth listening to. He might not, of course, but she couldn't see that she'd be any worse off than she'd been before. It was worth a try. Besides, there was more than one Klaus here. At least if she had one on side, he might be able to stop the others from getting to her. If you need protection from something powerful, you enlist a protector who's equally powerful, right? It made sense. Still, it didn't help the butterflies in Summer's stomach.
The beer was helping with the nerves she was feeling at the prospect of meeting the guy who'd made no secret of the fact that he wanted to kill her and make her a freaky hybrid slave thing. She'd been at the pub about half an hour before the time she'd said for Klaus to meet her and she was already on her second beer. She really did feel calmer than she had earlier that day, it was true, and there was part of her that was actually quite excited about the meeting with the Original hybrid. Didn't all girls love to think they could change a guy? Maybe she was just being delusional but she thought she had some idea of how Klaus worked. Perhaps this wouldn't be a disaster after all... Perhaps.
