Who: Flynn & Katherine What: A floating sword and two wolves When: Afternoon Where: A clearing in the woods Warnings: None.
It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining brightly. Birds chirping. Rabbits were out and about. So were Myrkvan and Fenrir, much to the dismay or plenty of other animals. A hare had almost been ripped to pieces. Katherine did not discourage it. Hunting was in their blood. If they wanted to hunt, they should be allowed to hunt. The only problem was keeping up with them. The beats were quick and even worse, sometimes they split up. Thankfully, they had slowly started to listen a tad bit better. Only to her. Thor, Sif, her Dad, Rhysand - they only followed their commands if they felt like it. But strangely, if she shouted 'stop' with enough authority, they came to a halt.
The white one of her pair had stopped in his tracks, sniffing the air. The behaviour of her companion sent Myrkvan to a halt and she imitated Fenrir. She froze and Katherine noticed a rustling in the bushes. Here we go again. Moments later the dark wolfdog took off. Fenrir followed her a second later. Paws pounded the earth and Katherine joined with a sprint of her own to keep up. The occasional training with Eggsy had paid off, this forest harboured no obstacles for her. Bushes and fallen trees were jumped with ease, rocks used as assets.
The chase lasted a few minutes before Myrkvan's teeth dug into the poor creature - some sort of odd looking small dear. They had stopped on a clearing in front of the demigod. Katherine slowed down. Suddenly, Fenrir came to a startling halt as well and a soft growl escaped him.
