Who: Thomas & Edith
Where: Allerdale Hall
What: A case of wrath and pride
When: mid afternoon
Rating: TBD
Open: No
Status: on going

A warm and tingling feeling spread through Thomas' chest as inspected his home. His home. A mansion that was worth his title. He had worked hard to get it back in shape and it was finally paying off. It was as glorious as he remembered it from his childhood before father had destroyed the family heritage and dipped their name into a bucket of shame.

Oh, the baronet looked pleased as he stood there and surveyed what was rightfully his. He had barely seen any home in town that could reach the beauty of his heritage. They deserved this - both Thomas and his amazing wife. He had worked hard and why should he not deserve something good for once? Life had always been against him.

Whatever side of bed Edith had awoken on, it had obviously been the wrong side. She felt as if the world was intentionally making her angry today with every little thing that had happened to her. Her dress had split at the side, her toast had burned and the milk soured in her mouth as she drank. She could not stem the flow of red clay from the bleeding walls of her kitchen and broke a pot in her frustrated rage.

The one thing she was almost breathtakingly angry at, however, was her beloved husband who seemed to have a permanent smug smile on his face today just to send her into a catastrophic frenzy. Did he not see the damage around him, did he not smell that stench of decay? He seemed to revel in the dstruction around him and lifted not even a finger to help as she scrubbed the kitchen stove with wire wool.

Sweaty, red in the face and angry, Edith decided she had had enough. "Thomas!" she cried, storming around the house looking for him. "Thomas, would you get your damned head out of the clouds and help me for once!?"

Head still held high, Thomas turned to meet his seething wife. His hands were firmly clasped behind his back as he eyed her. Scorn for her anger and harsh words filled him all too quickly.

"I do not think that tone of yours is suitable when you speak to your husband. I am a Baronet, not a servant," he commented before he returned his glance to his work.
