Who: Abigail and open! What: Plot - pride When: late afternoon/early evening Where: Walking home from the bakery, so anywhere in-between the bakery and Will's house. Warnings: Low - mentions of her scars and the reasons for the scars. Open: Yes! To more than one thread! She could run into people at different times or be walking home on different days. Note: When the plot ends, Abigail might feel embarrassed around anyone who saw her scars.
Abigail smiled to herself as she cleaned up. It was almost a shame that her shift at the bakery was done for the day. She had made so many amazing creations that she could have spent all night in the bakery, showing them off to anyone that came in. She couldn't keep the pets and Will waiting and missing her awesomeness though.
Catching a glimpse of her reflection in a shiny surface, Abigail grinned, finally able to see the beauty that Finn did. She reached up and pulled off her scarf, looking at her scar. When Hannibal was on the island, he'd told her not to get rid of it, that someone day she'd be proud of it, and for the first time, she agreed. She was a survivor! She suddenly thought the mark created by having her throat cut, only showed her strength and not her pain. Reaching up, she used the scarf to tie her hair back, revealing the scars where her ear used to be. That felt like a sign of strength too. She'd let Hannibal do what was needed to keep herself alive and free. It was a source of pride, not a mistake. Nothing Hannibal had done afterwards felt like her fault anymore. She walked outside and headed towards home, with anyone able to see her scars.
