He settled himself sitting up on the bed, and eagerly took the binders as they were offered. "I'll try my best," he assured her. He wasn't really jealous of Clint anymore than she would be of Pauline. Ancient history, really. He knew they were solid. "It's a shame Clint doesn't remember this part," he mused as he leafed through the pages, the sight of little Charlie making his heart ache. He was still only a toddler, but he'd been so little. Without warning, a sudden broodiness hit him. It wasn't the longing for the children he had left behind but a longing for the future. A little person that was theirs, together. A part of each of them.
"I can't believe you have it on video, that is brilliant," he grinned, chuffed to be able to see it even if he hadn't been around yet.
