She could almost see it in his eyes, how he wanted to protest and take the control back. Abi had to commend him though, for not giving in to his instincts to take control and actually learn to breathe properly and above all enjoy the moment. He could earn it back, though, and for stopping his hands from tearing at her clothes, she'd let them rest on her thighs for now. Piece by piece, it'd get easier for him to let go.
"Okay," she said, lowering her hands to the buttons of her plaid shirt. She worked from the bottom up, popping a button for every sentence she finished. "It was New Year's 1997 and I was nearly 21, went to a party in a sorority. Don't ask me which one because I really can't remember. We got introduced by a mutual friend and talking to Caroline was like a breath of air. I hated all the girly girls and the sorority bitches on campus; she was the complete opposite so we got on like a house on fire. She actually knew I hadn't been with a girl before, so she talked me into going on a date with her and the rest just kinda went from there..." she said, popping open the fifth and final button, around her neck.
Abi let the fabric drape open casually, running her fingertips across the tops of her bare breasts. "I had some... self esteem issues. This was how she made me see that I was worth something after all."
