Sook was glad to see he hadn't lost a limb to a wildcat or something equally as ridiculous. He looked all in one piece as she came up closer and smiled widely at him. It was nice just to see someone who wasn't a Sully or her daughter, frankly. The breeze was nice and the sand was fun. He'd even set up a rocker for Elli.
"You mean you haven't been bathing, Bo?" she said and leant in to give him a tight, friendly hug. "I've been missing you around the house, it's all full of Northern folks who don't know a good batch of cornbread when they eat it. Izzy's the closest I got."
Patting his arm, she pulled Elli out of her strolled and tugged on her tiny yellow sunhat. "How you been faring out here, cowboy?"
