For a man so fit, Sam was tired. He blamed the giant bump on his head, which he was sure looked like some sort of Looney Toons growth sticking straight up. He trudged through the grass that could use a bit of a mowing and finally when his boots crunched asphalt he sighed. Only to have scared a mother and child, it seemed.
Quickly, Sam raised his hands, which looked a bit bloodied from whatever fall or climb he'd made. "Hey!" he called in return, standing still. "Definitely not Jake. Uh, Sam Wilson...Is this....Wakanda?" It certainly didn't look like Wakanda. It didn't look like any city he'd ever seen, actually, but he wasn't a geography guy and couldn't know all the cities horizon's. Hands still up, Sam stood still and slowly, very slowly, began to bring those hands down.
"I'm not gonna hurt you. I just...I just woke up in a tree." Incredulous, he looked back at the jungle before finding Sookie's face once more.
