Force storm was a Force lightning variant. The user would raise their palm upward and would create, through the Force, an explosion of electrical energy directed at all foes in the vicinity. It also appeared as a tornado of energy which created a great disturbance in the Force. Jedi could also join together to create a Force storm, though its use was frowned upon by more orthodox Jedi. Unlike the Force lightning, Force storm was not limited to attacking enemies in one direction, as it affected all foes within a certain radius from the user. Kytana wasn't sure how she found herself in the meadow. Her rage blinded her. Her anger coursed through her veins. The dark robes of days of old enfolded her. In cased her in blackness. In contrast to her golden hair. She stood in the waist high grasses. The air around her still, and thick. Electric bolts arced from one finger to the other, lavender in color, rather than red. Maybe her heart wasn't completely in closed. But her rage wouldn't let her acknowledge that. Not just then. Someone had called her weak. Their whole world was going to see how false that assumption was. Thrusting her hands skyward, energy crackled, the earth rumbled. Twin vortexes of pure electrical energy reached from the ground to the upper most curve of the bubble that encased their island. With a scream of rage she put every ounce of what she had into that storm. Her intention was to make a worm hole, a way out, instead two tornadoes of lightening simply danced around each other. Eating up the ground, and tearing up the grasses for the distance of 100 feet, before they both dissipated. Kytana crumpled to the ground, on her knees, before falling onto her side. Body shaking as she wept. She was not spent. Not of energy. She was spent with the will to fight. The hole had failed to open up. She had no escape. She had no escape. |
