Katherine could not help but roll her eyes. She was in a state of annoyance. It wasn't the man that annoyed her. No, it was this place. The last two weeks had been terrible.
"Look, boy," she addressed the man who was likely older than her. "I'm far too tired to lie to you. If I wanted you dead, you would be dead. You are not, take that as evidence that I am not hostile.
