Luke had been mostly quiet while she talked, wanting to let her try to reason with him, if it would work. What did catch his attention was the statements about his father. Luke knew his father had never wanted him dead. That it had been Palpatine who tried to kill him when he refused to join his father.
"She is right, he never wanted to kill me. He did wish to turn me, to have me join him, but killing was never his mission." he said. He also refused to rage or yell or anything like that. "That was all Palaptine."
He hoped Kylo would listen to her, though he wasn't certain. He kept wondering why things had happened as they did in that world. Why, when the Solo kids he knew were strong forces for good, had Kylo taken a different route? And he still thought of Jacen and hoped he could overcome the struggles brought on him by his ordeal. He didn't seem dark, just troubled and questioning things a lot. Kylo, though, was another story, and Luke simply hoped he wasn't beyond help.
