Admittedly, Rhysand was not the sort to openly apologize. He was a mysterious man that kept his emotions in check, locked away and out of sight. The high fae was not ashamed of his emotions, nor did he find them a weakness. Much as Katherine had confessed, he kept them to himself to utilize them as motive and tools to strength. It also kept him superior over his court, domineering and almost like a tyrant. A court of night, of darkness, wickedness, and depravity need not be hindered by something that was so blinding for others. Plus, he preferred in a sentimental sort of way to keep them to himself and to the person he cherished. Or in the least the idea seemed quite nice. A private thing that she might only ever see.
The court had never seen him anything but brave...or in a recent case as a man-whore to the absolutely insane Amarantha. That, however, had been out of the necessity to keep on her good side and ensure his own court remained out of her clutches--which it had. None of his court had been cursed in the way the others had.
With an annoyed sigh Rhysand left his apartment, moving through the dark shadows of the home filled with a handful of dim lights and other dark interior, to reappear as if smoke formed from the cracks in a wall on the main floor, just outside. He moved along with even strides, graceful if not feline in their motion, purposeful in his direction. Katherine wished he clear his name to her father...fine. He was not quite sure how he would do so, he had never in his life had to explain his way out of something as messy and disgusting as this. Pleading for mercy, however, was not on the list of ideas.
