It was strangely relieving to hear her saying that they were wrong. It was like some sort of validation for how he felt about his relationship with his parents. She thought they were wrong.
"You're here," he reminded her, hoping that she could stop beating herself up over it so much. "That's all I want, that's all I need."
The warmth of her kiss made some of the anxious tension slip away again. They were going to be just fine. He gave her a nod of agreement. "I'm tired of the fiction. I'm so worn out. I love every part of you. You don't have to hide from me. I love you, and I'm with you. We can be real together."
