Luke studied him. "You are from our galaxy?" he asked curiously. "I admit I am rather well known in quite a few places there. So I can't say I'm not used to being recognized." The guy didn't say his own name, and Luke found that intriguing, though he wasn't sure he wanted to push it.
"Yes, I agree there. I've had to go by that philosophy most of my life. Adult life, anyway." In his case, being caught unaware could be painful or deadly.
He listened to the speech about the population. It made a lot of sense. "I think I have to agree there." Not only from a mental perspective, but a Dark Side danger perspective. There was Kylo around and a few others he could sense, but at least most of the population didn't give off any strange or dark indications.
Luke was starting to register something with the guy's appearance. Obi-Wan had described the mysterious 'Doctor' that he'd suggested Luke talk to, at least enough to give the older-younger Jedi enough to look for.
"Are you the one called the Doctor?" he asked. "Master Obi-Wan actually suggested speaking to you about the timelines and time travel aspects here...it's all very new to me. And you look like how he described."
