Normally Lily wouldn't be the most eager to accept an invitation into a strange house by a man she had just met but he did seem genuine. And she could also understand a man wanting to impress his new bride, given how hard James had worked in the past to keep her impressed. She loved him dearly and she always would but she knew that he worried sometimes. It had taken him so long to get her to even agree to a date she imagined that he must feel slightly insecure at times. Not that she had ever wanted that.
"We wives do have strong opinions at times," she joked, smiling softly before nodding. "Sure. Tea would be lovely."
Plus, that house looked amazing. She couldn't help but want a peak inside.
