"You clear the sky?" he asked, with a little surprise. They'd had a lot of work in Kinraddie, but nature was nature and they were only men. "Aye, I had good neighbours right enough. We were a small community, all willing to do our share. Makes all the difference," he admitted. It was a small community on the island, but it wasn't the same. There wasn't the closeness he'd been used to at home. As much as he complained about the constant gossip, he did sometimes miss the people.
"Well, it's appreciated. I'm a terror for forgetting about it until I'm near starved," he admitted with a soft chuckle. "Oh, aye? Then I'll be sure to try one."
