Who: Kylo Ren & Kytana Montrose
When: Morning
Where: The Temple
What: Sulking
That kind of time, sixty-five days, was a long time when you did so little. As the morning sun rose on the sixty-sixth day, Kylo Ren quietly roamed the halls of the temple down on his mostly empty end. Through Kytana's trust and kindness, though he wished to call her a fool he could not bring himself to do so after all their lessons, Kylo had been allowed to stay in the temple. The stipulation being he was far from the others and he would not harm them. Not even that damnable girl. He had to leave her be. And the traitor. And the pilot. Bleh.
He conceded for he was growing tired of living alone with so few friends or acquaintances it was...too quiet even for him.
This morning the knight swept through the halls toward the exit dressed in his usual black regalia. Somewhere along the way he had possessions show up, some of which he was grateful to see, others that haunted him. Secretly he stored away his grandfather's mask and it grounded him against the things his master said. He couldn't give in to her or the Jedi way. It wasn't right. It was distinctively wrong, on principle, and he was sure one day he would return to the stars and resume galactic domination.
But this morning that was not how he felt. This morning he felt calm in a way he had not in a very, very long time. So he stood at the mouth of the temple, looked out at the glowing horizon, and sighed.
