"I know, it feels a little strange," Jack beamed, careful not to step on any toes and not to jump when she clipped his, "It's been a while since I've danced, but it's not something you forget. I know I dated a dance instructor for a while, and she made me learn. We'd demonstrate for new students."
She was doing really well, so he decided to pick it up a little.
"Okay, now for timing, it's slow... slow... then quick quick, to the side. Right, like that. You're doing great. So let's turn. Right back, stop, then right forward in a turn, like, 90 degree, and bring them together, and we've turned."
He smiled and laughed, it was a little awkward but they'd practice and she's get it. She was picking it up fast.
