Rikku nodded, solemn and quiet for just a moment. She honestly missed him too. But she had been living with this for almost ten years now, and although she knew that Brother would never be the same as he was before, she couldn't help but hold onto a tiny sliver of hope that, maybe one day, he would get better. Or she would discover some way to help him.
"Yeah, it seems crazy busy," she agreed, tearing the last part of her muffin in two and offering half to Weetzie. "I can't imagine... still, you're more of a doctor than I am! Or than, y'know, a student would be." She shrugged, innocent simple logic. "You're working with patients, right?"
