Quentin had begun to pick up a few things in the hopes of making his room look a little more orderly but was immediately distracted and pulled away when Eliot tugged him down to join him on the bed. "I guess some things never change," he offered with a small smile as he rubbed his other hand through his hair, attempting to tuck it behind his ears but failing miserably.
"Less noise," he agreed with a nod before he cautiously lifted a hand to touch Eliot's face, smoothing his thumb over his cheek before he searched the other man's expression closely, It helped reassure him in more ways than he could express because he could see Eliot when he looked at the other magician, there was no trace of the Monster to be seen, and Quentin was relieved about that.
