Yeah you think so? Are you very bewildered by how the entire place is positively blinding me with magic but this little contraption allows me to talk to people remotely sans spellcasting and also where the bloody hell am I?

It's called science. I know some people who could explain it in more detail. But, essentially the little contraption runs on electricty, you know, like lightning. And, I think communicates using radio waves. Which are invisible.

Yeah, it's fucking confusing. I just don't usually think too much about it. It makes my head hurt.

I know a scientist or two, but they don't dabble in whatever this is. I guess they're more chemists, really. I'm just used to having to cast a spell to do what I'm doing now, is all.

There must be a book somewhere that explains all of it.
